Is 15–20 mmHg right for you?

This is the most common place to start with compression. If your legs feel tired, slightly swollen, or heavy at the end of the day, light compression can help support circulation and improve comfort.

A great choice if you:

Spend long hours standing or sitting
Travel frequently (flights, long drives)
Experience mild swelling in your feet or ankles
Want everyday support without tight pressure
Are new to compression socks

What does "15–20 mmHg" mean?

Compression is measured in mmHg (millimeters of mercury) — how much pressure the sock applies to your leg, strongest at the ankle and easing up the calf (graduated compression). 15–20 mmHg is light compression — enough to support circulation and reduce mild swelling, while staying comfortable for everyday wear.

Not sure which level? Compare them.

Surgeon-designed for real leg health

Dr. Johnny's compression wasn't designed by a marketing team. It was developed by Dr. Jean Segal — a surgeon with over 35 years treating patients with venous disease, swelling, and circulation problems. Every level we offer exists because his patients needed it: stylish enough to wear every day, effective enough to make a real difference.

Find your size

Measure around your ankle and the widest part of your calf, then match below.

SizeAnkleCalfShoe
S7–9"13–15.5"W 5–7
M7.5–10"14–17.5"W 7.5–9.5 · M 6.5–8.5
L8–10.5"15–18.5"W 10–12 · M 9–11
XL9–13"16–20"W 12+ · M 11.5–14

If you're between sizes, size up. Ankle and calf measurements matter most for compression.
